Comet players Chase Low and Brennan Schmidt to play for their coach at NIACC High School All-Star Game

MASON CITY — The 2023 NIACC boys high school basketball all-star game is set for Sunday.

Game time is set for 2 p.m. at Mason City High School. The NIACC gym is receiving a renovation and is under construction.

Mason City’s Nicholas Trask will coach the Blue all-star squad and Charles City’s Ben Klapperich will coach the Gold all-star squad — which includes Comet seniors Chase Low and Brennan Schmidt.

Coach – Nicholas Trask (Mason City).
